5×5 DAPD-Array-1550-100-RX

A digital Receiver utilizing and InGaAs Discrete Amplification Photon Detector (DAPD) 5×5 array plus an Application Specific IC (ASIC).  The Receiver has 25 independent channel, and real time A/D conversion.

The receiver is including two modules:

  1. The front-End (FEM1) module
  2. The Control Unit CM2) module

Included with the receiver:

  • The firmware, for the FPGA and the ASIC
  • LINUX-based software with a GUI control
  • Technical support and documentation

DAPD 1×8 1550-200

Discrete Amplification Photon Detector Linear Array with a 1 by 8 configuration, in a 200-micron pitch.  The linear array is packaged in a hermetically-sealed TO-8 with 16 leads, thermos-electric cooler and temperature-stabilization-enabling thermistor.

Near infrared spectral response with an In0.47Ga0.53As absorber (950nm to 1650nm), high-speed self-quenching negative feedback mechanism. designed for time-of-flight applications.  The TO-8 optical window is made of Sapphire, with broadband anti-reflection coating in the 1500nm range.

DAPD TO8 -1550-200F

Discrete Amplification Photon Detector coupled to a Multi-Mode Fiber with a 200-microns core and an FC flat polished connector.

Near infrared spectral response (950nm to 1650nm), high-speed self quenching photon detector, designed for 3D LIDAR applications.  Including: three-stage TEC and a thermistor, which is able to cool the DAPD to -50C.

DAPD 5×5+ PCB-1550-100

Discrete Amplification Photon Detector (DAPD0 5 by 5) Array with a pre-amplifier printed circuit board and temperature stabilization

Near infrared spectral response (950nm to 1650nm), high-speed self quenching 5 by 5 photon detector array, designed for 3D LIDAR applications.  Including a printed circuit board with 25 preamplifiers, a two-stage TEC and a thermistor.  One DC bias input is used for all 25 pixels, and each pixel is connected in parallel to an SMA high-speed connector.

Discrete Amplification Photon Detector (DAPD) Device evaluation Module for TO8 package

The Evaluation module is a wide frequency range module designed for testing and evaluation of a thermoelectrically cooled DAPD packaged in a TO-8.  It consists of a low-noise package, bias filtering circuit, 4 SMA connectors (1) for the Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC), (2) connection for the Thermistor, (3) DAPD Bias, and (4) RF analog output.
